No crust pizza

Serves 8

1 (2 oz) chopped mushrooms
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 cup soft bread crumbs
1/2 tsp each oregano, salt
pinch of pepper
1 lb lean ground beef
2 (1 oz) slices mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup pizza sauce
1/4 cup chopped onion
2 Tbsp chopped green pepper

Drain mushrooms, reserving liquid. Add enough water to reserved liquid to measure 1/2 cup. Combine with egg, bread crumbs, oregano, salt and pepper in bowl; mix well. Pat into 9 inch pie plate, forming crust. Cut cheese into 8 triangles. Arrange half the cheese over ground beef. Layer pizza sauce, mushrooms, onion and green pepper over cheese. Bake at 350 F for 45 minutes. Top with remaining cheese. Bake for 5 minutes longer.
