No noodle lasagna

Serves 6
8 oz lean ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
1/2 tsp each oregano, basil and salt
1/2 tsp pepper
4 medium zucchini
1 (8 oz) carton cottage cheese
1 egg
2 Tbsp flour
1 cup shredded low fat mozzarella cheese
Brown ground beef with onion in skillet, stirring frequently; drain. Stir in tomato sauce, oregano, basil, salt and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes. Slice zucchini lengthwise into 1/4 inch slices. Combine cottage cheese and egg in bowl; mix well. Layer half the zucchini, half the flour, all the cottage cheese mixture, half the ground beef mixture, remaining zucchini and flour, mozzarella cheese and remaining ground beef mixture in 8x12 inch baking dish. Bake at 375 F for 40 minutes. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
