Red peppers and steak

Serves 2
12 oz boneless chuck steak
1 medium sweet red pepper, cut into strips
1 Tbsp oil
3/4 cup canned beef broth
1 tsp soy sauce
2 Tbsp cornstarch
1 Tbsp water
1/2 tsp pepper
Broil steak on broiler pan until rare. Cut into thin strips. Saute red pepper with oil in skillet. Add beef broth and soy sauce. Cook for 3 minutes. Blend cornstarch with 1 Tbsp water. Stir into steak mixture. Cook until mixture thickens, stirring constantly. Season with pepper. Spoon into serving bowl.
