Mushroom and pepper steak

Serves 6

1 lb round steak
2 Tbsp cornstarch
1 onion, chopped
2 Tbsp oil
2-3 Tbsp garlic powder
2 beef bouillon cubes
2-3 cups water
1 (4 oz) can mushrooms, drained
1 medium green pepper, chopped
1 Tbsp cornstarch
2 Tbsp soy sauce

Slice steak diagonally cross grain into this strips. Sprinkle with paprika. Brown steak and onion in oil in skillet. Add garlic powder, bouillon cubes and water. Simmer for 30-45 minutes or until of desired consistency. Add mushrooms and green pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes. Add mixture of cornstarch and soy sauce. Cook until thickened, stirring constantly. Serve over rice.
