Serves 12

6 large tomatoes, peeled, quartered
2 large green peppers, cut into strips
1 large red onion, sliced
3/4 cup vinegar
1 1/2 tsp each celery salt, mustard seed
1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp each, Pepper, cayenne pepper
4 1/2 Tbsp sugar

Layer tomatoes, green peppers and onion in bowl. Combine remaining ingredients in saucepan. Bring to a boil. Pour over vegetables. Chill, covered for 24 hours.
