Poppy Seed loaf

Category: potluck

Makes 16 slices

2 large eggs
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup milk
1/2 cup cooking oil
1 tsp almond flavoring
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups all purpose flour
2 Tbsp poppy seeds
1 tsp baking powder
3/4 tsp salt

Beat eggs in large bowl until frothy. Add next 5 ingredients. Beat until smooth.
Combine remaining 4 ingredient in medium bowl. Add to egg mixture. Stir until just moistened. Spread evenly in greased 9x5x3 inch loaf pan. Bake in 350 F oven for about 1 hour until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Let stand in pan for 10 minutes before removing to wire rack to cool. Cuts into 16 slices.
