Mexican wedding cookies

1 cup butter (1/2 lb)
4 Tbsp powdered sugar or 3 Tbsp sugar
2 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 tsp water
2 cups sifted flour
1 cup ground pecans

Cream butter and sugar. Add vanilla and water, blend in flour and pecans Chill then shape. Bake at 350 F until light brown. Roll in confectioners sugar while hot. Repeat when cooled. Bake about 12 minutes. Reverse racks in 7 minutes if baking 2 pans at a times
