Pineapple Torte

2 eggs
1 (#2 can) crushed pineapple
2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
2 tsp soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup shaved nutmeats
whipped cream or ice cream

Combine first 6 ingredients; mix by hand until well blended and spread in a 9x13 inch buttered and floured pan. Sprinkle with brown sugar and nutmeats. Bake at 350 F for 45-60 minutes. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream. May be made a day before.
