Strawberry Pie

1 quart fresh strawberries
1 cup sugar
3 Tbsp cornstarch
1 large pkg cream cheese
2 baked pie shells
1 carton whipped topping

This cream cheese with enough milk to make spreading consistency. Cover bottom of pie shell with this mixture. Next, cover with layer of nice whole berries. Mash remaining berries and cook slowly with sugar and cornstarch. The mixture will turn thick and clear. Let cool and pour over berries in pie shell. Top with whipped topping. Chill 3-4 hours. Topping may be added at serving time.
