Chocolate pie

1 stick butter
1 cup sugar (small, not heaping)
1/2 cup water (cold)
2 Tbsp flour, heaping
3 Tbsp cocoa
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp vanilla
baked pie shell

Melt butter in skillet. Mix sugar, flour and cocoa together and add water and eggs. Cook until thick. Add vanilla. You need not melt butter first. Add a meringue or whipped cream topping.
