Pineapple Icebox cake

Serves 12

1/2 lb vanilla wafers (crushed)
1 stick butter or margarine, softened
1 1/2 cup confectioners sugar
2 eggs
1 cup chopped nuts
1 medium can crushed pineapple
1/2 pint cream- whipped

Line 8x`0 inch pyrex pan with crumbs. Save a few for top. Cream butter and add sugar, cream well. Add one egg at a time, beat well after each. Spread over crumbs , then nuts, pineapple and then whipped cream. Sprinkle remaining crumbs on top. Make at least 12 hours before serving.
