Black Walnut pumpkin cake

1 1/2 cup oil
2 cups sugar
3 cups self rising flour
4 eggs
2 cups cooked pumpkin
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp allspice
1 cup chopped walnuts
CARAMEL FROSTING:
1 stick margarine
1/4 cup milk
1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups powdered sugar
walnuts
Mix all ingredients well, beating after adding each egg. Bake in greased and floured sheet cake pan at 350 F until done.
CARAMEL FROSTING: Combine margarine, milk, brown sugar and vanilla; cook 1 minute. Remove from heat and cool slightly. Add powdered sugar. If frosting is not thick enough to spread, add more sugar, if too thick add more milk. Top with walnuts.
