Pork Chops

1 inch thick chops
onion
rice

Brown chops on both sides. Place in dutch oven with a thick slice of onion on each chop. Fill pyrex baking cups with cooked rice. Invert cups on chops. Add hot water enough that they may steam. Cover and steam for an hour longer. Add water as needed as it is the gravy.
