Spaghetti Sauce

1 lb ground beef
2 large (15 oz) cans tomato sauce and 2 of the cans of water
2 small (6 oz) cans tomato paste
1/4 lb fresh mushrooms
onion, quartered
2 cloves garlic, fresh
1/2 tsp oregano
1 Tbsp chopped parsley
1 tsp crushed red pepper
2 Tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper

Brown meat. Add onion and garlic and cook until onions are transparent. Add the tomato sauce, paste, water, mushrooms, cheese and seasonings. Stir and cover. Let simmer for at least 2 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally.
