Lasagna

1 lb ground beef
1 tsp garlic powder
1 Tbsp parsley flakes
1 Tbsp basil
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 lb can tomatoes and juice
12 oz tomato paste
10 oz lasagna noodles (10 noodles)
3 cups cream style cottage cheese
2 eggs beaten
2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
2 Tbsp parsley flakes
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
1 lb mozzarella cheese, sliced thin

Brown meat; spoon off excess fat. Add next 6 ingredients. Simmer, uncovered until sauce is thick, about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cook noodles in boiling unsalted water according to box directions, leave in cold water. Combine cottage cheese, eggs, seasonings and Parmesan cheese. Place half the cooked noodles in a 9x13 inch pan. Spread half the cottage cheese mix over; add half mozzarella cheese and half meat sauce. Repeat layers. Bake, uncovered, at 375 F for 30-40 minutes. Let stand 15 minutes before serving.
