Charlene's Recipe

Scalloped potatoes

Serves 4-6

3 Tbsp butter
2 Tbsp all purpose flour
3 cups milk
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
6 medium potatoes, sliced, thin
2 Tbsp chopped onion

Make white sauce of first 5 ingredients. Put half of the potatoes in greased 2 quart casserole; cover with half the onion and half sauce. Repeat layers. Cover and bake at 350 F for 1 hour. Uncover til top is brown.
