Potato casserole

Serves 12

6 large potatoes
2 cups sour cream
1 cup milk
2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, grated
1 stick butter
2/3 cup chopped green onion
salt and pepper to taste

Boil potatoes in jacket. Chill and grate. Melt butter in double boiler. Add cheese, when melted add milk and sour cream then onions. Mix with potatoes. Bake in greased casserole at 350 F for 45 minutes.
