Steamed frozen corn

1 small pkg frozen yellow corn
3 Tbsp butter
1 1/2 Tbsp sugar

Empty 1 small package of frozen corn in a small saucepan with a tight fitting lid. Add butter and sugar. Do not add any water. Place over moderate heat and when corn is entirely defrosted let cook about 3 minutes, stirring several times. Serve hot.
