Baked beans

6 strips bacon
1 medium onion
2 Tbsp brown sugar
1/2 cup ketchup or chili sauce
2 (lb each) cans beans

Fry bacon until crisp, break into bits. Remove from skillet and cook onion in bacon drippings until tender (not brown). Add sugar, ketchup and beans. Heat thoroughly. Pack into casserole dish. Heat 20 minutes in moderate oven.
