Pumpkin Bread

3 1/2 cups flour
2 tsp soda
1 1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp nutmeg
3 cup sugar
4 eggs
2/3 cup water
1 cup salad oil
1 (16 oz) can pumpkin (2 cups)
1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Put all ingredients except nuts into mixing bowl; mix well; add nuts. This can be baked in any loaf pan of three greased and floured one-pound coffee cans. Bake at 350 F for one hour. Flavor is better if it is baked the day before serving. Will keep for weeks in refrigerator or can be frozen.
