Italian Bread

2 1/2 cup lukewarm water
1 Tbsp salt
1 egg
1 Tbsp sugar
2 cakes yeast
2 Tbsp oil
7 cups flour
1 egg white, slightly beaten
sesame seeds

Combine oil ingredients, mix well. Knead for 10 minutes. Place in greased bowl, brush with oil, cover with damp towel. Let rise 1 1/2 hours. Punch down. Let rise 45 minutes until double in bulk. Divide dough in half. Place in greased pans, sprinkle with cornmeal. Let rise 30 minutes. Brush loaves with egg white and sprinkle generously with sesame seeds.
