Sausage Quiche

Serves 4-6

1 lb sausage
1/2 cup chopped onions
1/3 cup chopped pepper
1 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, grated
1 Tbsp flour
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup evaporated milk
1 Tbsp parsley flakes
3/4 tsp seasoned salt
1/4 tsp garlic salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
9 inch pie shell, unbaked

Fry sausage and drain off grease, reserving 2 Tbsp. Saute onion and pepper in drippings. Mix the grated cheese with 1 Tbsp flour. Put the sausage, onion and pepper in pie shell and cover with the cheese. Mix the remaining ingredients and pour over cheese. Bake at 350 F for 35-40 minutes. Let set a few minutes before cutting. Can also be made with ground beef.
