10 corn tortillas
cheddar cheese cut in thin slices and then squares (about 1 lb needed)
1 small can jalapeno peppers, cut into thin strips
Cut each tortilla into 4 pieces (you will have triangular pieces) and fry until crisp in 1/2 inch hot cooking oil.
Drain well. Store in airtight container. Before serving heat oven to 400 F. Place tortillas on cookie sheet; place cheese on top of each piece and then top with strip of pepper. Bake 2-3 minutes until cheese melts.
