Cheese Straws

Makes 8 dozen

1 lb New York extra sharp cheddar cheese
3 sticks softened oleo
4 cups plain flour (sift before measuring)
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp red pepper
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp paprika

Mix oleo and cheese. Add flour sifted with dry ingredients. Pat dough through cookie press. bake at 375 F for 10 minutes. Remove from pan while warm.
