1/3 cup sugar
juice of 3 lemons
1/2 cup claret wine
3 cups plain or sparkling water
fresh mint
Dissolve sugar in lemon juice. Add wine. Pour mixture over ice in punch bowl. Add sparkling or plain water. Stir. Garnish with bouquet of fresh mint.
