Spiced Punch

Makes 4 1 /2 cups

1 (3 oz) pkg cherry flavored gelatin
4 cups boiling water, divided
3 cups sugar
3 1 /2 quartz water
20 whole cloves
6 whole sticks cinnamon
3 Tbsp tea leaves
juice of 12 lemons
1 (46 oz) can pineapple juice
lemon slices

Dissolve gelatin in 2 cups boiling water. Add sugar and 3 1/ 2 quartz water, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Combine cloves, cinnamon, and tea leaves in 2 cups boiling water, and let steep 20 minutes; strain. Add to gelatin mixture; stir in lemon juice and pineapple juice. Serve hot or cold, and garnish with lemon slices.
