Lazy day lasagna

Serves 6-8
12 oz container cottage cheese
4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
2 eggs, beaten
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/3 cup dried parsley
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp dried basil
1/8 tsp pepper
32 oz jar spaghetti sauce
1 lb ground beef, browned and drained
9 strips lasagna, uncooked
1/4 cup water
Mix together cottage cheese, 2 cups mozzarella cheese, eggs, Parmesan cheese and seasonings; set aside. Combine spaghetti sauce and beef; set aside. Spread one to 1 1/2 cups of meat mixture into an un-greased 13x9 inch baking pan; layer 5 lasagna strips, half the cottage cheese mixture and 1 1/2 cups of meat mixture. Add remaining layer of lasagna; cover with remaining meat mixture. Top with remaining mozzarella cheese; pour water around the edges. Bake, covered, at 350 for 45 minutes; uncover and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
