Family Favorite Beef and noodles

Serves 6-8

2 lbs ground beef
1 Tbsp margarine
15 oz can tomato sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
8 oz pkg cream cheese, softened
8 oz container sour cream
3/4 cup onion, sliced
3 cup fettuccine pasta, uncooked
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
Garnish: paprika

Brown ground beef in margarine in a skillet; drain. Add tomato sauce, garlic, sugar, salt and pepper; reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes. In a medium bowl, beat cream cheese with a fork until fluffy; stir in sour cream and onion. Set aside. Cook fettuccine according to package instructions. Layer ingredients as follows in a greased 13x9 inch baking pan; beef mixture, cooked fettuccine, cream cheese mixture, Cheddar cheese. Sprinkle with paprika; bake at 350 F for 25-3- minutes or until bubbly.
