Crockpot Apple Butter

8 cups applesauce
4 cups sugar
4 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp allspice
2 tsp nutmeg
2 tsp cloves

Stir all ingredients together well in a large bowl. Transfer to a crockpot and cook. UNCOVERED on high for 6-7 hours. It isan't necessary to stir it. Cool and place into containers. Keep refrigerated or may be frozen.
