1 cup cornmeal
1 cup sifted plain flour
1 tsp salt
4 Tbsp sugar
2 eggs, beaten
2 cups buttermilk
3 Tbsp melted butter
1 tsp baking powder
Sift meal and flour; add salt, sugar and baking powder. Add beaten eggs, buttermilk and butter. Mix well and pour into a greased pan and bake at 400 F for 20-30.
