1 (9 oz) can crushed pineapple
3 drops mint flavoring
3/4 cup sugar
five drops green coloring
1 quart ginger ale
1 pint vanilla ice cream
fresh mint

Drain juice from pineapple. Add mint and sugar to juice and simmer 5 minutes. Add coloring and pineapple and place in covered container. Store in refrigerator several hours. Place a spoonful of pineapple in tall glass. Top with ice cream and ginger ale. Garnish with mint.
