Oriental pepper steak

Makes 8 servings

2 lbs beef chuck
3 Tbsp oil
2 beef bouillon cubes
1/2 tsp sugar
1 1/2 cup hot water
1 clove of garlic, minced
1/4 tsp pepper
2 green peppers, cut into strips
2 sweet red peppers, cut into strips
2 Tbsp cornstarch
2 Tbsp soy sauce
1/2 cup sliced green onion

Cut beef into thin strips. Brown quickly in hot oil in skillet. Place in Crock Pot. Dissolve bouillon cubes and sugar in hot water. Pour over beef. Sprinkle with garlic and pepper. Cook on Low for 6-8 hours or until tender. Set temperature to High. Add green pepper strips and cornstarch blended with soy sauce. Cook for 35 minutes or until thickened. Serve with rice or noodles. Sprinkle with green onions.
