Creamy chicken and broccoli alfredo

8 oz. whole wheat fettuccine, uncooked
4 cups broccoli florets
1/2 cup ranch light dressing
1/2 cup fat free half and half
1/4 cup fat free cream cheese
3 Tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
1 Tbsp olive oil
1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast meat, cut into 1-inch chunks
Fresh cracked pepper

Cook pasta according to package directions, except add broccoli to pasta water during the last 4 minutes of cooking.
Meanwhile, mix ranch dressing, half and half, cream cheese and Parmesan cheese until smooth.
Heat oil in a large non stick skillet over medium high heat. Cook chicken in oil until golden brown. Add drained cooked pasta and broccoli to chicken. Stir in sauce mixture. Heat through. Sprinkle with fresh cracked pepper, if desired.
