32 oz. frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
12 oz. sour cream
16 oz. American cheese, chopped
10 3/4 oz. cream of mushroom soup
3 cups corn flakes
1/2 cup butter
1 dash salt
1 dash pepper

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix all but corn flakes and 1/4 cup butter and hash browns. Pour thawed hash browns in bottom of 9x13 pan. Pour mixture on top. Put crushed corn flakes on top of mixture. Pour 1/4 cup butter on top.
Bake 45 minutes.
