Failproof Fudge

Serves 16

1 egg
1 (16 oz) package confectioners' sugar
1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
4 oz unsweetened chocolate
1/2 cup butter

Blend egg, confectioners' sugar, condensed milk, vanilla and salt in bowl. Melt chocolate and butter in double boiler. Add to confectioners' sugar mixture; mix well. Pour into buttered 9-inch square dish. Chill. Cut into squares.
