Ranch House steak

Serves 10-12
3 lb 1/2-inch thick round steak
1/2 cup flour
2 tsp dry mustard
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1/4 cup oil
1/2 cup water
1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Cut steak into serving sized pieces, trimming excess fat. Slash edges of steak to prevent curling. Mix dry ingredients in shallow bowl. Coat steak well with flour mixture; reserve remaining flour mixture. Brown steak on both sides in hot oil in skillet, removing browned pieces to paper towel. Stir reserved flour mixture into pan drippings. Add mixture of water and Worcestershire sauce; mix well. Add steak. Simmer, covered, for 1 to 1 1/4 hours or until tender.
