Dinner Rolls

Makes 4 dozen

2 pkg dry yeast
1 1/2 cup warm water
3/4 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup sugar
5 eggs
1 Tbsp salt
1 1/2 cup hot water
12 cup flour, sifted

Dissolve yeast in warm water. Cream butter and sugar in bowl. Add eggs; mix well. Add salt and hot water; beat until blended. Add yeast and enough flour to make easy to handle dough.
Knead on floured surface until smooth and elastic. Place in greased bowl, turning to grease surface. Let rise, covered, until doubled in bulk. Roll on floured surface, cut and shape as desired; place in greased baking pans. Let rise until doubled in bulk. Bake at 400 F for 12-20 minutes or until golden brown. Remove to serving plate.
