Spaghetti Sauce

Category: Dips, Sauces and Toppings

1/2 bushel red ripe tomatoes (peeled and quartered)
3 lbs onions, diced
4 hot peppers, diced
2 sweet green peppers, diced
2 Tbsp. basil
2 Tbsp oregano
1/2 cup salt
1 1/2 cup sugar
2 cup oil
5 (12 oz) cans tomato paste

Combine all ingredients in a large pot. Cook 1 hour stirring often to prevent sticking. Put in cans and seal while hot.
