Dalmation bars

Makes 2 dozen
Ready in 40 minutes
4 squares (1 oz. each) unsweetened chocolate
3/4 cup (1 1/2 stick) unsalted butter
1 1/4 cup all purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 3/4 cup sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
1 jar (3 1/2 oz) macadamia nuts, coarsely chopped
1 1/2 cup mini white chocolate chips
Heat oven to 350 F. Coat a 13x9x2-inch baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.
Melt unsweetened chocolate and butter in top of a double boiler over simmering water, stirring until smooth.
Mix together flour, baking powder and salt in a small bowl.
Beat eggs, sugar and chocolate mixture in a medium bowl. Mix in vanilla, then flour mixture until combined. Stir in nuts +1/2 of white chocolate chips. Spread evenly in prepared pan. Sprinkle remaining chocolate chips on top.
Bake in 350 F oven; 20-25 minutes or until firm and chocolate chips are lightly colored. Cool in pan. Cut into bars.
