Tandoori marinade

1 (6 oz.) container of plain yogurt
juice of 1 lemon
1 Tbsp. chopped garlic
2 tsp. garam masala
2 tsp. paprika
1 tsp. cumin
1 tsp. ground pepper
3/4 tsp. salt
Mix ingredients together and marinate meat for 4 hours.
example: Place 6 skinless chicken thighs in a baking dish and spoon marinade over top and underneath chicken pieces. Cover and marinate 4 hours in refrigerator. Bake chicken, uncovered, at 400 F for 40 minutes or until internal temperature registers 160 F.
