Blueberry syrup

Category: Dips, Sauces and Toppings

Yeild: 1 1/2 cups

Combine 2 cups fresh or thawed frozen blueberries, 1/4 cup sugar, 1/4 cup water and 1/2 tsp. nutmeg in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce heat to low; simmer about 7 minutes or until syrup is thickened.
