Easy Taco salad

Complete in 15 minutes
Serves 6

1 lb. lean ground beef
3/4 cup water
1 ORTEGA taco kit-- includes 12 tsco shells, 1 packet (1.25 oz.) taco seasoning mix and 1 packet (3 oz.) taco sauce
2 cups torn lettuce
1 cup chopped red onion
1 cup (4 oz.) shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup chopped tomato
1 can(2.25 oz.) sliced ripe olives, drained
1/2 cup sour cream
Additional taco sauce (optional)

Cook and stir beef in medium skillet over medium high heat until no longer pink. Drain and discard fat. Stir in water and seasoning mix from taco kit; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low. Cook and stir 5-6 minutes or until thickened.
Break taco shells from taco into bite size pieces. Combine beef mixture with taco shells, lettuce, onion, cheese, tomato and olives; toss well.
Combine sour cream and taco sauce from taco kit in small bowl. Serve as dressing with salad. Top salad with additional taco sauce, if desired.

TIP: If you make the salad ahead of time, put the taco shells in just before serving.
