Prep Time:       Cook Time:       Total Time:

Makes about 18 meatballs
Complete in 1 hour

1 Tbsp olive oil
3/4 cup finely chopped onion
2 lbs lean ground beef
1/2 cup dry seasoned bread crumbs
2 eggs
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp seasoning salt
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp black pepper

Sauce:
1/3 cup ketchup
1/3 cup barbeque sauce
1 1/2 tsp dried oregano
1 1/2 tsp dried basil
1 1/2 tsp garlic salt
1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp distilled white vinegar
Pinch of garlic salt

Heat oven to 325.
Heat oil in a medium size skillet. Add onions; saute 10 minutes or until tender.
Combine beef, bread crumbs, eggs, milk, oregano, basil, garlic salt, seasoning salt, Worcestershire sauce, pepper and sauted onion in a bowl; lightly mix with a wooden spoon or your hands until combines but not over mixed.
Shape beef mixture into 2-inch meatballs. Arrange in a single layer, not touching each other, 15x10x1-inch jelly roll pan.
Bake uncovered in heated 325 oven; 20 minutes.
Meanwhile, prepare sauce; combine ketchup, BBQ sauce, brown sugar, vinegar and garlic salt in a small saucepan. Heat over medium heat just until simmering.
Remove meatballs from pan to paper towel to drain. Wipe out baking pan. Return meatballs to pan; cover with sauce. Cover pan tightly with aluminum foil.
Return baking pan to 325 oven and bake another 20 minutes or until meatballs are no longer pink in center.
