Taco Casserole

3 cups corn chips, crushed coarsely
Chopped lettuce
Diced tomatoes
1 1/2 pounds hamburger
1 jar mild taco sauce
1 can kidney beans, drained
10 oz. grated cheddar cheese

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Place half of the crushed corn chips in an 8x8-inch pan.
Cook hamburger until brown; drain fat. Add taco sauce. Cook a minute or two and pour mixture over chips. Add beans. Cover and bake for 30 minutes.
Remove from oven and spread grated cheese on top. Top with remaining corn chips. Return to oven for 10 more minutes, until cheese is melted.
Add lettuce and tomatoes before serving.
