Cheating Lasagna

1 (10 oz) bag of egg noodles
1 lb. ground beef
1 onion
2 Tbsp. butter
1/4 tsp. salt
1 (16 oz.) jar of spaghetti sauce (your choice)
16 oz. mild cheddar cheese

Boil egg noodles until tender. Begin sauce as noodles boil. Melt butter. Add onions and brown lightly. Add ground beef and salt. Brown and then drain. Add sauce and stew 15-20 minutes. Drain noodles; put in bottom of casserole dish. Top with sauce in pan. Grate cheese and put on top of sauce. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes.
