Swiss steak

Category: Meat

2-3 lbs. round steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
2 tsp salt
2 Tbsp oil
1/2 cup flour
1 onion, sliced
2 cup strained tomatoes
2 small green peppers, sliced

Combine salt and flour; pound into steak on both sides. Heat oil and brown steak. Place in baking dish.Brown onions and peppers. Add to steak. Pour tomatoes over steak. Cover and cook until tender.
