Broccoli soup with pasta

Category: soup

2 sticks celery
5 medium potatoes
1-2 large onions
1 bunch of broccoli
salt (to taste)
Black pepper (to taste)
1 stick of margarine
1 cup milk
2 cups of pasta
1 cup grated cheese (American or Cheddar)
3-4 Tbsp. cornstarch or flour

Cook on medium heat. Peel potatoes, onions and celery (dice). Cover with water in a large skillet. Add margarine, salt and Pepper; cook until tender. Cook broccoli separately until tender; drain and cut into small pieces. Add to soup mixture.
Mix cornstarch and flour in milk; stir until smooth. Pour through strainer into soup, cooking on low heat until it begins to thicken. Cook pasta until tender. Have ready to add to soup (mix together) sprinkle grated cheese on top of each serving (if desired).
