Easy dill pickles

arrange in a quart jar:
2 sprigs of dill
Cucumbers to fill
1 piece of garlic
4 pieces of Alum
1 Tbsp. rock salt
1 cup vinegar
1 Tbsp. mixed spices
Fill jar with cold water and seal.
