Sour Cream Pecan Coffee Cake

1/2 pound butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup sour cream
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup sugar
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1/2 cup finely chopped pecans
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour two 8" or 9" pie pan. Cream butter and sugar. Add the eggs one at a time. Stir in the vanilla. Sift the dry ingredients and add alternately with the sour cream. Place 1/2 of the batter in each of the prepared pie pan. Mix the sugar, cinnamon and pecans together. Sprinkle evenly over each filled pan. Bake for 25 minutes or until the center tests done.
