Lovin' from the Oven Beef Stew

1 to 2 lbs beef stew meat (you can use beef, lamb, pork etc)
3 large carrots, sliced
3 ribs celery, add a little celery leaf for flavor
2 large yellow onion, quartered
2 large russet potatoes, cubed
10 mushrooms quartered

1 cup good burgundy wine
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 packet dry onion soup mix
Add 1 - 2 TBSP of your fav dry seasoning

Stir together all ingredients in a large bowl. Transfer to a greased 13 X 9 baking dish.

Slow bake 5 hours in a 250 degree oven.
If you are at home while it cooks... stir thoroughly one or two times while baking... otherwise it may appear a bit dry, but will reconstitute itself when you give it a good stir... delicious day after day... till it's all gone!!
